iPad another Flash-less browser

Hopeless, but predictable……..

Apple’s new iPad looks very very desirable for every gadget-man out there, but fortunately Apple’s tactical stubbornness means my wallets stays closed.  No sale for me.  Don’t worry I have already ranted before about how rubbish the iPod Touch browser is, because by deliberate design it does provide support for Abobe Flash.

I expect this crippling reason will see the iPad slated left, right and centre.  Here is a glimpse of the poor Apple ‘web experience’

What else will you miss out on ?

  • apart from lots of web sites there is
  • 70% of browser games
  • 75% of browser video
  • several ‘industrial automation’ trending and graphical clients will not work either !

There’s gonna be some unhappy campers out there that only figure out the flash omission after buying.  Not me though !

  1. Alot of bloggers aren’t too pleased with this new iPad.There was too much hoopla over it and lots of people got turned off.You see, I actually see great deal of the awesome potential uses of this gizmo. Third-party applications for doing music, games, papers and magazine and books, all kinds of awesome stuff, but IMHO they failed to sell it very well (excluding the books). It looks rather not finished

  2. The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important. Have you tried the ipad? you can get one free at FreshGiftCard.com
